Today, April 25, 2019, in the framework of the II International Forum of Industrial Parks in Kazan, the results of the investment attractiveness research of industrial infrastructure and Russian special economic zones were announced. The rating was conducted by international consulting and analytical agency Knight Frank. SEZ St. Petersburg was among the leaders of the rating, taking second place.

“Proximity to the logistics infrastructure, export opportunities and developed human resources have always been the main advantages of the SEZ St. Petersburg as a platform for doing business. More than 20 successfully implemented projects, as well as the availability of free land plots with a total area of 42 hectares, confidently reinforce the status of an investment-attractive infrastructure site”, - said Tamara Rondaleva, General Director of Saint Petersburg Special Economic Zone.

A representative research of the investment attractiveness of industrial infrastructure aims to assess in detail the potential of both industrial parks and existing areas of advanced development and special economic zones. The rankings took into account such indicators as the availability of the resource base, the availability of human resources, the number of jobs created, the timing of land plots lease contracts conclusion, and the total amount of attracted investments.

Note that the presentation of the Knight Frank Award and the announcement of the attractiveness rating results of industrial infrastructure facilities was held for the first time. The leader of the research became SEZ Alabuga.
