Russian SEZs have got acquainted with the world free zones organization

Today, the second meeting of Deputy General Director Dmitry Golosov with representatives of the World Free Zones Organization (WFZO) took place at the office of Special Economic Zones JSC.

This time, the meeting was attended by member of the board of directors of WFZO Dragan Kostic, regional representative of WFZO in Europe, CIS countries, Turkey and Iran Nika Manukova, mayor of Pirot (Serbia) Vladan Vashich and representative of the free zone Pirot (Serbia) Alexander Simonovich. From the Russian special economic zones in the event took part representatives of the SEZ ”Togliatti“, SEZ ”St. Petersburg“, SEZ ”Technopolis ”Moscow“, SEZ ”Innopolis“, SEZ ”Dubna“, SEZ ”Istok“ and SEZ ”Northern Caucasus Resorts“.

During the meeting, representatives of WFZO spoke about their opportunities for the Russian SEZs and elaborated on the experience of developing free zones in Serbia, while representatives of the Russian SEZs told about the features of the project’s development in the regions of Russia.

The parties will continue to develop cooperation between the world free zones organization in the promotion of Russian SEZs at the global level and attracting foreign investors in the Russian special economic zones.

* The World Free Zones Organization (WFZO) was founded in Geneva,2014, with headquarters in Dubai. It is a non-profit organization. The organization is the only one in the world that unites free zones, industrial parks, as well as special zones around the world. The organization of free zones is aimed at assisting investors in selection of investment sites around the world, as well as to support and develop this tool through the exchange of experience and knowledge among the participants of the organization.
