Rakurs-Engineering launches R&D Center in the SEZ St. Petersburg

Companys investment in the project is about 400 million rubles. Planned period of payment is 5 years. When the project is launched in full operation, this center will provide 100 new jobs for the residents of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region.

  Nowadays, the center includes most modern infrastructure for R&D of automated process control systems for power engineering facilities. It is the first completed project on SEZ area. The work of the new infrastructure is aimed at developing its own process chain, aimed at import substitution, and special devices for power equipment, as well as the creation of integrated solutions that ensure safe and efficient management of power plant equipment. After localization of all the processes in 2014, sales volume of "Rakurs-Engeneering” will be more than 1 bln. rub.

Among the participants of the event were Vice-governor Igor Golikov, Deputy Minister of Economic Eevelopment Oleg Saveliev, CEO of “Rakurs-Engeneering” & Rakurs Group Leonid Chernigov and top-managers of key customers, including foreign business representatives.

Traditionally, very important things take place in the St.Petersburg Economic Forum`s eve. This year`s event is the launch of this new enterprise. Sankt Petersburg has its own innovational way of development. And one of the first steps is the R&D center opening that will produce innovation products for energetics. I want to thank the investors and residents of SEZ and St. Petersburg Administration. Despite the fact that SEZ is a federal project, nothing could happen without the daily work of the local administration. I think that “Rakurs-Engeneering” plant will have a great success in such demanded branch as innovative production in energetics.
