Ford Sollers began to construction of engines plant in the SEZ "Alabuga"

A resident of SEZ "Alabuga” Ford Sollers began to build car engines plant in the Ford area adjacent to the car manufacturing company.

 The plant will start serial production in December 2015. At the first stage, the total output was 105,000 units. Later the capacity will be increased to 200,000 units. The olume of investments in the project is $ 274 million.

At first the company plan to produce Duratec petrol engines of 1.6 liters in three versions – 85, 105, 125 l. The main components of engine (cylinder head) will be produced by one of the company’s partners in Russia.

Organization of engines production in Russia will allow the company to fulfill one of the basic conditions of the agreement on industrial assembly, i.e. complication of  car set-thirds produced in Russia Ford.
