Overview

The Turquoise Katun Tourism & Recreation Zone was created in the Altai District of Altai Territory pursuant to the Russian Government’s Resolution No. 69 dated March 2, 2007.

The zone occupies 3,326 hectares.

Incentives And Preferences

Resident investors enjoy the following tax reliefs:

  • 0% property tax
  • 0% land tax %
  • 0% road tax
  • Reduced corporate tax rate (15.5% for residents)

The duration of the tax holidays granted by regional authorities is five to ten years.

Residents are guaranteed against any changes in the tax treatment for as long as the zone exists.

The Zone’s infrastructure is largely completed. Ready to-use facilities include artificial lakes suitable for bathing and fishing, two ski slopes, and three year-round hotel complexes.
