The agreement was signed by: Yury Kalabin, Chairman of the Committee for Industrial Policy and Innovations of St. Petersburg, Tamara Rondaleva, General Director of Saint Petersburg Special Economic Zone JSC, and Zakhar Golant, General Director of Baltpharma LLC.

On June 8, within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum - 2019, a solemn signing of an additional agreement to the agreement on the implementation of innovative activity on the territory of the SEZ St. Petersburg between the Committee on Industrial Policy and Innovations of St. Petersburg, SEZ St. Petersburg and Baltfarma LLC took place.

The supplementary agreement provides amendments to the existing agreement and fixes the company's intentions to increase the volume of investments from 796 million rubles to 2.004 billion rubles, production space from 4,000 square meters to 11,475 square meters, the area of land from 1.4 hectares to 3.2 hectares, as well as the needs for electricity, water supply and sewerage.

We remind that the trilateral agreement on the implementation of the project of Baltpharma LLC on the territory of the SEZ was signed within the framework of SPIEF-2018. The company intends to organize the development and production of active pharmaceutical substances (APS) on the basis of breakthrough synthesis technologies, as a result of which it will start production of APS for the treatment of socially significant diseases, including those included in the list of vital and essential drugs (diseases of the respiratory system, cardiovascular system, mental disorders and behavioral disorders, nervous system, urogenital organs and other diseases). Pharmaceutical plants that produce finished pharmaceutical products will be potential buyers of the company's products. The commissioning of the plant is scheduled for 2021. As a result of the project implementation at the Novoorlovskaya site, it is planned to create 119 jobs.
